Since the inception of Finerio, their mission has been to harness the transformative potential of open banking tools to create a positive societal impact. At the forefront of their vision was the recognition of the pervasive issue of suboptimal financial management faced by many in Mexico.
The intricacies of managing personal finances often pose a formidable challenge, leaving users grappling with the complexities of tracking spending, adhering to budgets, and making well-informed financial decisions. Recognizing these common pain points, our mission became clear: develop an app that not only simplifies these challenges but also empowers users to assert control over their financial destinies.

To begin, we conducted user research through surveys and interviews to understand the pain points, needs, and expectations of potential users. Our target demographic encompassed a diverse spectrum of individuals, including young professionals, freelancers, and families seeking a more effective means to manage their finances. By delving into the unique challenges faced by each group, we were able to tailor our design solutions to address their specific needs

Users want a simple way to track their expenses and monitor budgets
They desire personalized insights to improve their financial health.
Users appreciate visual representations of their financial data.

Building upon our research findings, we adhered to an iterative design process that involved crafting wireframes, mockups, and prototypes. This meticulous approach was rooted in the insights gleaned from our research, enabling us to tailor each design element to specifically address the identified user needs.

In our design approach, we placed significant emphasis on cultivating a clean and professional visual aesthetic. Our primary goal was to facilitate swift user adaptation to the interface, ensuring a seamless and intuitive experience. The accompanying image vividly illustrates how we strategically employed graphics to offer users an immediate and insightful overview of their monthly financial behavior.

Our commitment to a clean and professional visual design extends beyond mere aesthetics; it is a strategic choice aimed at enhancing user interaction. The meticulously crafted interface not only captivates with its visual appeal but also serves as a catalyst for users to quickly grasp and engage with the intricacies of their financial data.

Finerio is a personal finance manager app designed to help users track their expenses, monitor their budgets, and achieve their financial goals.
With Finerio, you can seamlessly link all your various bank accounts in one place and, from there, have complete control over all your expenses.
This app enables you to establish distinct budgets for a range of categories, helping you save effectively and reach your financial objectives.
In order to assess the effectiveness of our prototype, we undertook a comprehensive evaluation through a remote un-moderated task-based usability study involving 30 participants. This pivotal phase aimed to gather quantitative insights into the user experience, allowing us to gauge the efficiency and user-friendliness of the design.
Upon evaluation of the prototype, we were met with a predominantly positive response from participants. The seamless execution of benchmark tasks by users indicated a successful alignment between the design and user expectations. This positive reception served as a testament to the efficacy of the prototype in facilitating user interactions.
That's enough about me, now let me hear about you.
